This season we will be fielding two teams across the Premiership and Division one leagues. The new season will commence in October, when our development team, the North East Udders, will be heading to Stoke Mandeville to compete against seven other teams spanning Great Britain, including northern outfits, West Coast Burn and West Coast Heat, aswell as teams from Southampton (Solent Sharks), Wales (Ospreys), London, Plymouth (Hawks) and Leicester.
Following their fifth place finish in last season’s competition, the Udders will be looking to remain competitive against the other teams in the league alongside the clubs new strong focus on court time for those who do not normally play every game. Experience for these ‘oxygen thiefs’ is key, and we hope the following season will tone down their eagerness to moan about court time again…
the club committee commented:
“You asked for court time, you’re getting it in abundance!”
The Udders will be playing in three tournaments at varying locations. Grumbles have already been heard regarding the six and half hour trip to Plymouth with a few players already expecting to catch COVID that weekend.
The Premiership season will start in November, with a trip to the grand estate of Lilleshall Castle and Gardens where the northern team will no doubt fit in perfectly to the tranquil and esteemed historic surroundings. The North East Bulls premier team will be looking to defend their wooden spoon which they WON last season, a feat in which they had to purposefully surrender all their matches to gain.

The summer conversations however have been plentiful and the opposing teams should rightfully be looking north to see that we are in fact going to be competitive this season.
Keep an eye open for ‘zum vew’y egg-ziting noo’s’ – we have a bit of confirmed European high point talent on the way! Flights are booked, northern-English lessons are being taken and team lederhosen’s have been ordered… more information on this, aswell as our other transfer news (which is possibly just as exciting to be fair!) will be splashed all over your socials soon.
Up the Bulls! Moooooooooooooooo
